- General Policy Overview
Due to the nature of electronics products, Dangote applies strict but fair return and warranty rules. Customers are advised to inspect products carefully upon delivery or collection.
- Returns – General Rules
- Returns are only accepted within 48 hours of delivery or pickup.
- Returned items must:
- Be in original condition
- Include all accessories, cables, and packaging
- Not show signs of misuse, damage, or tampering
- Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- Opened or used items without manufacturing defects
- Products damaged due to power surges, water, dust, or misuse
- Products installed or altered after purchase
- Clearance or discounted items (unless defective)
- Computers (Ex-UK Laptops & Desktops)
- All computers sold are used / Ex-UK, even if refurbished.
- Minor cosmetic wear is normal and not considered a defect.
- Customers are encouraged to test computers at the shop or upon delivery.
Warranty for Computers:
- Limited 7-day testing warranty
- Covers hardware failure not caused by misuse
- Does NOT cover:
- Battery wear
- Software issues
- Physical damage
- Virus or OS corruption
- New Products (CCTV, Networking & Accessories)
- New products carry a limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Warranty period varies by product and will be communicated at the point of sale.
- CCTV Products
- CCTV products sold are non-installed.
- Dangote is not responsible for:
- Poor image quality due to incorrect installation
- Incompatibility with third-party systems
- Damage during installation by third parties
Once a CCTV product is installed, it cannot be returned.
- Dead on Arrival (DOA)
If a product is dead on arrival:
- Notify Dangote within 24 hours
- Product must be returned for testing
- If confirmed defective, Dangote will:
- Repair, replace, or refund (at our discretion)
- Refunds
- Refunds, where approved, will be processed via:
- M-Pesa, or
- Store credit
Cash refunds are not guaranteed.
